2009 MONTALUCE, CHARDONNAY, GEORGIA

This is a Burgundy grape with classic Georgia characteristics. Flint and dense minerality are paired with a lychee and a melon nose. Let Montaluce help you get into the summer mood with a slippery mouth feel and balanced acidity.  Pair with chef’s thyme poached chicken or popcorn at movie night.

2009 MONTALUCE, DOLCE, GEORGIA

Baked apples and pie spice are the dominant flavor characteristics for this Georgia Blend.  A glassy finish helps round out a sweetness that fits well in the south.  At a cookout or in the morning with French toast, bacon and syrup the Dolce will find its place at any meal period.

2009 MONTALUCE, PRIMORO, GEORGIA

This first release Seyval and Vidal Blend has an elegant pineapple and tropical citrus nose.  Its brightness prepares the palate for a well rounded and smooth finished wine.  This wine will compliment Me, You and Everyone We Know.

2009 MONTALUCE, VIOGNIER, GEORGIA

A luscious aroma opens this viognier which is then followed by white flowers and honeycomb scent.  The subtle smokiness flavor is reinforced with toffee and vanilla.  Get ready to pair this with English Pea Soup or a mint semi-freddo.

2009 MONTALUCE, RISATA, GEORGIA

This gorgeous rose will elevate your senses.  Cherry limeade, green apple, watermelon, and strawberries flavors will start preparing the palate for exciting summer fare.  Please pair with fish, lemon vinaigrette, or foie gras.

2008 MONTALUCE, CENTURIO, GEORGIA

Just as its name sake-a Roman officer- this 100% Reserve Merlot is commanding! It is a powerful and luscious wine with notes of ripe cherries and pomegranate with a round, full mouth feel. Enjoy it with meats or the blue gouda from Kenny’s Farmhouse.

2008 MONTALUCE, RISATA, GEORGIA

Italian for “laughter.” A beautiful rose color leads to aromas that suggest watermelon and summer strawberries. On the palate flavors of cherries and raspberries dominate with hints of cranberries and savory Italian herbs.  Enjoy this delicious summer quaffer on the patio with friends or with shellfish or salads.

2008 MONTALUCE, CABERNET SAUVIGNON, GEORGIA

After spending three months in an oak barrel, this Cabernet has had ample time to nurture a delightful dark chocolate note.  The deep violet color is a testament that North Georgia ecology has passed the muster for Cabernet cultivation.

2008 MONTALUCE, MERLOT, GEORGIA

There is a comforting tinge of smoky black pepper that introduces this light to medium bodied merlot.  A bouquet of sour cherries prepares the palate for complimentary currant and blackberry flavors.

At the heart of the Montaluce Estate and at its highest point, the property boasts a modern 25,000-square foot winery building. Reminiscent of a grand Tuscan villa, with sweeping views of the vineyards and mountains beyond, guests will discover here the Italian ideal of "La Vita Bella", or the beautiful life--centered around food, wine and sharing.

On the winery's main floor, the handsome Tasting Room and beautiful restaurant Le Vigne offer a place to unwind and enjoy New- and Old-World Italian dishes alongside a thoughtful wine list that includes selections from the United States as well as Italy. On the lower levels, guests may observe the fine art of winemaking in our production facility that comprises more than 9500-square feet.

Come tour and taste from barrel with the winemaker, tour the vineyards with our vineyard manager, participate in Wine University, take a culinary class with our chef or simply sit back, relax and enjoy the wonderful world of wine and dining at Montaluce—the heart of North Georgia Wine Country.
